This attractive German violin is modeled after the classic Stradivarius model. The violin was probably built in Saxony in the 1st half of the last century. The fine, balanced flaming in the mirrored back is beautiful and is beautifully expressed in the orange-brown lacquer on a golden background. The good quality of the violin can be seen, among other things, in the scroll, which is accurately and skillfully carved. The violin is responsive with a warm, lilting and balanced tone (see the sound clip below). A repaired tear in the top at the top of the right F-hole is included in the price.
