Particularly beautiful, old, hand-built Hopf violin. The violin has been professionally overhauled in the past, including the neck being necked and the lacquer retouched. The well-known Hopf brand inside the violin indicates its origin from Klingenthal and is reflected in the style of the scroll, the characteristic shape of the blades and the beautiful orange-brown lacquer. The wood used is of high quality; fine spruce for the top and deep, balanced flamed maple for the one-piece back. This old violin is in very good condition and has a clear, precise, resonant sound with mature character (sound clip below).
