Dutch Master Violin Brandt_Sstraatemeier 2011

Dutch Master Violin Brandt_Sstraatemeier 2011

€4,500.00

I have received this beautiful Dutch Master Violin built by Peter Brandt and Bart Straatemeier on consignment. The violin has been played by the father of the current owner, who is now looking for a good destination for this violin. The instrument was also given on loan for some time to the string ensemble the Fancy Fiddlers conducted by Coosje Wijzenbeek. The violin is built after the Stradivari model. The top made of one part spruce wood has a fine structure with the annual rings from left to right distributed over the top. The back is made of two parts maple wood with a regular, deep structure pattern running down from the center. The violin is provided with a beautiful oil lacquer, made by the builder himself, which is red-brown in color. The sound can be described as clear, warm and carrying. The balance across the strings is good and even and the violin responds easily. This Dutch Master Violin is sold with an appraisal report from the builder himself of 6000 euros. The violin is suitable for good amateurs, conservatory students and professional violinists. Renting is also an option in consultation with the owner, who would like the violin to be played fully again.

Because I have this violin on consignment, the 30-day return and trade-in guarantee does not apply to this violin.
