Beautiful, individually built violin from 1953. The violin was probably built in a small workshop in the Vogtland (Germany). The violin is built very professionally and with attention, as can be seen from the sharp inlay, fine scroll and relatively deep fluting in the edge of the blades. A beautiful piece of maple has been used for the one-piece back. The flaming in the wood is beautifully expressed in the transparent orange-brown lacquer. The violin has a clear, open sound that appeals very easily (sound clip below).
