Beautiful German violin of master quality. The violin, made in the middle of the last century, has several brand marks. Despite this, the maker and exact origins are unfortunately not traceable, although the style and craftsmanship suggest that the violin was made in the Markneukirchen region. The beautiful soft red-brown varnish on a gold ground beautifully accentuates the regular flames in the maple back. The characterful, authentic appearance and delicate details - including the sharp purfling and elegant scroll - make this violin attractive to advanced violinists. The violin is in perfect condition and has a clear sound, which is rich in overtones, with a good resonance and some sweet tones - very powerful and with an excellent response.
