This old violin from Markneukirchen has been excellently tuned by the Franke violin making workshop in Darmstadt. The regularly grained spruce top and deeply flamed maple back are covered with a beautiful glossy, transparent orange-brown lacquer. This violin, suitable for the advanced student, has a powerful, warm sound with character (sound clip below).
