Beautiful German violin from the 2nd half of the last century. The violin is built after the model of Guarnerius. The wood used is of good quality; beautiful flamed maple for the one-piece back and finely grained spruce for the top. The scroll shows good craftsmanship and is expressively cut. The sound of the violin is powerful, open, warm and rich in overtones (sound clip below). The violin plays very easily and directly.
