Beautiful, old German violin made after the model of the famous Italian violinmaker Paolo Maggini. According to the previous owner's receipt from 1975, it is a violin made by the Wolf brothers. The Wolf brothers are known for their use of first-class wood and this is also clearly reflected in this Maggini copy; the maple back is balancedly flamed and the spruce top has a very fine grain. The beautiful, soft golden-brown varnish on a yellow ground shows tasteful color shades. The violin has an easy response and a deep, mature, resonant sound.
