Beautiful German violin built in the beginning of the last century. The fairly flat curvature follows the classic Stradivarius pattern. The violin is by a talented hand; a beautiful curl with character, precise inlays and sharply cut F-holes. The even grain in the spruce top and the strong flaming in the maple back are beautifully expressed in the slightly antiqued brown lacquer on a golden background. The sound of the violin is clear with an open sound rich in overtones (sound clip below).
