Lubos Oubrecht is a Czech bow maker who has his workshop in Frantiskovy Lazne (22.10.1975 in Cheb). He successfully completed his training as a violin maker in Luby in 1993. He learned a further specialization of the profession as a bow maker from his father Milan Oubrecht. Lubos Oubrecht makes exclusive pernambuc bows for all contemporary string instruments. He takes advantage of the many visits from top musicians to his father's studio where he receives feedback and inspiration for subsequent copies. Lubos Oubrecht's bows are popular for their good control and precise craftsmanship, especially with young talented musicians in the United States, Germany, Austria, Finland and Australia, among others.
