Dutch viola K. Keizer Utrecht, 1944
Dutch viola K. Keizer Utrecht, 1944
This beautiful Dutch viola built by K. Keizer in 1944 is offered by a Dutch professional musician. The viola was probably inspired by the model of the Italian master Giuseppe Ornati; This model is characterized by relatively wide lower bouts that create a fuller and darker sound, while the instrument remains easy to play. Keizer also added his own style elements, reflected in the very elegant F-holes and sharply cut, striking scrolll. The tasteful wine-red oil varnish is also beautiful, which shows beautiful crackle in various places. The viola - with a length of 41.5 cm (body) - has a large, noble, sweet sound (see the sound fragment below).
Because I have this viola on consignment, the 30-day return and trade-in guarantee does not apply to this violin.
