You don't see old 3/4 violins of this quality very often. The violin was hand made around 1920 by an unknown violinmaker in Saxony. The orange-brown lacquer on a lighter background shows a beautiful patina. The violin is made after the Stradivarius model with relatively flat curvature. Particularly beautiful is the strongly flamed maple back. The violin has a beautiful, original bridge by the famous Dutch violin maker Josef Vedral. The violin has a warm, well projecting sound.
