A beautiful hand-built quality instrument probably built in the Markneukirchen region around 1920. The patinated, golden yellow shining varnish with traces of use features a color that is typical for violins from this region. The gentle arching of the top and back, the fine scroll and the carefully crafted purfling and flutings are the work of a skilled hand. The violin has a warm, balanced sound.
