Beautiful quarter violin from the studio of Kurt Lutz. Kurt Lutz was a renowned German violin maker who, like many other violin makers, settled in Bubenreuth after the 2nd World War. Quarter violins of this quality are rare. The wood used is of high quality; deep flame maple for the back, whorl and scroll and balanced grain spruce for the top. The scroll is exceptionally finely cut, the inlay very sharp and wide. Considering the small size of the violin, the sound - warm, powerful and balanced - is incredible. A special copy for young talents!
